HOW TO MAKE A STAR DANCER DECORATION
Things you need
Star template
Dancer template
Colouring pencils or crayons
Anything sparkly or colourful that you want to use for decoration
Paper and/or light card (card is better for the star as it is stronger)
Glue or sticky tape
Scissors
Ribbon or string to hang your decoration
1) Colour your dancer - make it bright and colourful – add some sparkle or glitter if you want.
2) Cut out your star template from light card – perhaps you have some coloured card to use, or you can cover your star eg with foil, fancy paper or fabric – or you can colour it in with your own design.
3) Cut out your dancer.
4) Glue the dancer onto the star – have the point to the top.
5) Tie some ribbon at the top of the star to make a hanging loop.

Celebrating a student's success
One of our students, 12 year old Xenia Zanesco, has secured a place at the prestigious Chetham's School of Music in Manchester to continue studying piano. She has already achieved grade 8 and is working towards a diploma. Her ambition is to become a concert pianist and she is well on her way. Although she naturally felt a little bit nervous about being away from home, she was also very excited when she started at the school in January.

We are very proud of her achievement and wish her all the best for the future.
